THE
AWAY FROM HOME
FESTIVAL

"Playing live shows is the best part of what I do, and it's been far too long since I've seen you all."

Louis Tomlinson

The Away From Home festival is an initiative launched by Louis Tomlinson, British singer and songwriter whose first worldwide tour abruptly stopped after two shows in Spain only in March 2020. His tour, following the release of his highly anticipated debut album 'Walls', was supposed to bring him closer to his fans all over the world. The pandemic put an end to it; since then, the Louis Tomlinson World Tour has been postponed to 2022, and expanded to a few more countries.

However, Louis' continuous support toward other artists (including on socials), and his will to give his fans as much as he can led him to thinking of a festival for a whole year, keeping it a secret while teasing 'something big' on Twitter in early 2021. Its name suits perfectly its meaning; after a year of 'From Home' events that fans could watch through their screens only, the 'Away From Home' festival goes back to the fundamentals of a live show. A venue, a stage, a band, performers, and most importantly a lively crowd.

Louis Tomlinson's legendary generosity was once again proved when he announced that all tickets were free and a pair would be sent out to 3750 lucky fans through a contest hosted by SeeTickets. Anyone over 16 could participate if they checked all safety requirements (vaccine pass / test).

The first edition of the festival will take place on Bank Holiday (August 30th 2021), at Crystal Palace Bowl in South London. The performers' line up includes DJ Jess Iszatt, Bilk, The Snuts and, of course, Louis Tomlinson himself.
